I have been coming here for years when I needed to have a place to stay.. While the Tropicana is not a luxury motel (hence MOTEL) it is safe and clean. It is a motel and you WILL occasionally run into workers and their clients, and there will be noises, but it is expected. I have never experienced weird bites, so I don't know why people would say that.. The management is sweet, but strict. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a safe clean place.
Comfortable, clean, convenient, quiet, very welcoming and courteous staff. What more could you ask for? Motel has been very recently remolded so everything in the room is new and works. Free Wifi, mini fridge and premium cable on a large HD T.V. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Hollywood.
My family had the opportunity to stay at The Tropicana Inn and we enjoyed every moment of it immensely! The two rooms we stayed in were very clean and modern. The room decor was very inviting, from the fresh linens, comfortable beds and furniture decor (we absolutely loved the gray slate beds, end tables attached to the bed and bureau above the television!) Lastly, the room service was impeccable too! The manager at the Inn was very friendly and courteous to my family. We had a very comfortable stay and will return for another stay soon when in the Los Angeles area
During my stay at The Tropicana Inn I was a bit weary because after all it is still a moteI. I have to say after my first two nights here I felt comfortable and not only that but safe. The cleaning ladies are respectful and get the job done. The property management are very respectful,courteous & very vigilant when it comes to weirdos hanging around. I recommend calling before to ask about availability!
I found the Tropicana Inn very quiet and clean. Service is excellent and it's a beautiful location across the street from a byzantine church. And close to shopping just within walking distance. Near the freeway and close to Hollywood.
Very nice, hospitable motel at an affordable price. I love the staff, polite and eager to please, they never refuse a request! Air conditioning, cable TV, refrigerator, AND THE HOT WATER NEVER ENDS. EVER. Very best moteI have stayed in since I ever came to visit the City of the Angels
surprisingly well appointed and very clean small rooms. They're newly remodeled with a price that's affordable and more than fair for the quality and convenience. Staff is very friendly and very vigilant about keeping the property free of shady/questionable individuals. That is a rarity for most places in this price range, and a huge bonus for me. Safe parking lot as well, although it's tiny and can fill up fast on busy nights. highly recommend.
